<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner comprising a driving mechanism capable of driving a radiant sensor holder by a drive motor positioned not on an extension of an axis of rotation of the radiant sensor holder disposed inside of a front panel but at an inner side with respect to the axis of rotation of the radiant sensor holder. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes a radiant sensor device assembly 8 inside the front panel 4 of an indoor unit 1, in which the radiant sensor holder 6 for holding a radiant sensor 3 and a radiant sensor holder drive mechanism 7 are installed into the radiant sensor device assembly, the radiant sensor holder drive mechanism includes four projections 24 provided on a part of the outer periphery of the radiant sensor holder in the radial directions, the drive motor 18 attached to the radiant sensor device assembly so that the direction of a motor shaft 18a extends in the same direction as the axis of rotation of the radiant sensor holder, and a sector-shaped connecting member 25 being attached to the motor shaft and having three pins 26 to be fitted between the four projections on the radiant sensor holder 4 respectively for driving the projections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
