<p>The implant has threads including a fluorine containing layer at an upper surface, where the implant is made of polymers for supplying hernias. Fluorine covalent in the fluorine containing layer is bound at the polymers of the implant, where the polymers are free of fluorine apart from the fluoride containing layer. A set of openings is free from the fluorine containing layer that is provided with 1 milligram of fluorine per meter square of a fluorinated thread surface. The fluorine containing layer includes fluorine selected from alkaline and alkyl groups. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a medical implant.</p> |
