The present invention relates to a fire alarm system (1) being provided with an optical module (5) having a light source (7), a measuring chamber (9) and a light receiver (8), with a temperature sensor (13) with an auxiliary sensor (12) for at least one fire gas and with an electronic discriminator (6) for common processing of various sensors (5, 12, 13). The electronic discriminator (6) serves for diagnosis of corresponding kind of fire based on preset data of testing fires (TF1 through TF6) and for selection of corresponding algorithm specific for given application to process signals from sensors (5, 12, 13) based on this diagnosis. |
