The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal having a voice recognition function. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a microphone configured to receive a user's voice; a user input unit configured to sense a user's input; a controller configured to start a first operation in response to the user's input, and execute a voice recognition mode prior to completing the first operation, and recognize voice received through the microphone during the execution of the voice recognition mode to generate recognition result information, and execute a second operation based on the recognition result information; a display unit configured to display a loading screen image until at least one of the first and the second operation is completed, and display a second execution screen image based on the second operation more preferentially than a first execution screen image based on the execution result of the first operation when the second operation is completed. |
