This medical connector is characterized in that: a housing is provided with a valve body holder having a round tubular inner peripheral surface that connects to the round tubular connection aperture of a male connector and has a larger diameter than the connection aperture of the male connector; the head part of the valve body is provided with a slit that can open to the top surface and outer peripheral surface of the head part, and a first width, which is the width in a direction orthogonal to the slit, is greater than a second width, which is the width in the direction along the slit, in a relaxed state in which no compression force is applied in a diametrical direction; and the barrel of the valve body has a round tubular outer peripheral surface approximately in conformity with the inside diameter of the inner peripheral surface of the valve body holder. |
