PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-electrode one surface single layer submerged arc welding method which hardly causes high-temperature cracking even on a thick plate and also has a preferable shape of a back bead.SOLUTION: In a multi-electrode one surface single layer submerged arc welding method for performing welding of a single layer on one surface by using a number of electrodes, the welding is performed on such conditions that the polarity of a first electrode 15a is minus on the electrode side in DC, an inter-electrode distance L1 between the first electrode and a second electrode 15b is 80 mm or more and 160 mm or less, an inter-electrode distance L2 between the second electrode 15b and a third electrode 15c is 80 mm or more and 160 mm or less, a voltage of the first electrode 15a is 25 to 40 V, and an electric current of the second electrode 15b is 800 to 1400 A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
