The method involves determining (32) useful energy of an electric energy storage and restitution system at an instant, so that the energy satisfies a specific relation comprising parameters representing useful energies of batteries, consumed average power, maximum power of continuous discharge of one of batteries, maximum power of converter in front of the battery and an output of the converter, where the battery and the converter are connected to electric energy consuming and producing elements. The system is controlled (35) based on the useful energy of the system. An independent claim is also included for an electric energy storage and restitution system. |
