PURPOSE: A driving device for plasma display panel is provided to reduce noise, electrical interrupt, and power consumption by dividing and driving a couple of sustain electrodes into cardinal-numbered and even-numbered electrodes. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises: an image matrix in which an image cell is composed of a couple of sustain electrodes and an address electrode; a sustain electrode driver for dividing and driving the sustain electrodes to make directions of current applied to the sustain electrodes different each other; and a plurality of scan/sustain electrode drivers for dividing and driving at least one scan/sustain electrode out of the sustain electrodes. |
