<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing riding comfortableness and fuel economy from being deteriorated by detecting the abnormality of a particulate filter. <P>SOLUTION: This abnormality determining device for the particulate filter capable of collecting particulates in exhaust gases comprises a regeneration time determination means for determining the regeneration time of the particulate filter, an integration means for integrating a reference value for determining abnormality in a period between a previous regenerated time in which the determination was performed by the regeneration time determination means and this regeneration time, and the abnormality determination means determining the particular filter to be defective when the integrated reference amount for determining abnormality is smaller than a specified value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
