PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print creased paper such as a book jacket. SOLUTION: The printing method includes an acquisition process to acquire information concerning the creasing of paper 100 (Step S401) in printing the creased paper 100, a first printing process (Steps S402 to S404) to start printing to the paper 100 and to stop printing at a prescribed creased position (hereinafter referred to as a "first position") on the basis of information acquired by the acquisition process, a first paper ejection process (step S405) to eject the paper 100, a second printing process (Steps S409 to S411) to start printing to the paper 100 reversed and set and to stop printing in a prescribed creased position (hereinafter referred to as a "second position") on the basis of information acquired by the acquisition process, and a second paper ejection process (Step S412) to eject the paper 100.
