<p>With respect to a data group comprising data indicative of the transmission path characteristic of a spread pilot signal position at which the phases are aligned by dividing a spread pilot signal included in an OFDM signal by a spread pilot signal at the time of transmission, a carrier extending circuit (341) adds, to the lower outside of the band of that data group, data having the same value as the data at the lower end of the band, and further adds, to the upper outside of the band of that data group, data having the same value as the data at the upper end of the band. The data group, which consists of 2<SUP>N</SUP> pieces of data including the data added by the carrier extending circuit (341), is processed by an IFFT circuit (342), then processed by a noise eliminating circuit (343) and then processed by an FFT circuit (344). The data added by the carrier extending circuit (341) is removed from the data group outputted from the FFT circuit (344), and thereafter the data group is used for interpolation in the symbol direction.</p> |
