PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus for a construction plate wherein coating can be carried out without a positional shift caused or without a boundary made conspicuous when the construction plate of a wide width is coated by a plurality of sets of coating heads. SOLUTION: In the coating apparatus for the construction plate in which a surface of the construction plate 1 is coated in full color by jetting a paint of a different color from each other at every coating head 3 from jetting nozzles 4 of a plurality of the coating heads 3 furnished along a send direction of the construction plate 1 in an inkjet type coating machine 2, a plurality of the coating heads 3 arranged in a row in the send direction of the construction plate 1 is made one set, and a plurality of sets of the coating heads 3 are arranged in a plurality of rows parallel to the send direction of the construction plate 1 and furnished in the inkjet type coating machine 2. A plurality of sets of the coating heads 3 are furnished in a staggering arrangement so that each coating head 3 of one set is located between the coating heads 3 adjacent to each other in the send direction of the construction plate 1 of the other set in the adjacent sets of the coating heads 3.
