PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator performing soft switching for preventing abnormal heat generation or damage on a component caused by an inrush current especially when power is turned on with regard to a power supply. SOLUTION: In a switching regulator for controlling a voltage or a current from a power supply by switching operation, end of an inrush current generated by power-on is distinguished.
