PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal voltage generating circuit which can vary oscillation periods actively by counting a time point at which differences from a reference level occur by detecting the level of a back bias voltage or a pump voltage for a predetermined time with a shift register. SOLUTION: The internal voltage generating circuit has a back bias/pump voltage detector which detects a back bias/pump voltage level and outputs so that the detected signal may be changed with the differences of the back bias/pump voltage level and the reference voltage level, a periods conditioning means for counting each zone based on the detected signal to control the periods of the oscillator signal, and a pumping means for pumping the back bias/pump voltage with the periods of the oscillator signal and outputting it.
