PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a communication apparatus capable of responding to an incoming call from another communication apparatus without moving. SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal 1 is provided for communicating with another mobile communication terminal utilizing a public line network. The terminal comprises an audio I/F switching instructor 21, and audio I/F 7 for controlling audio inputs and outputs so as to communicate with the other mobile communication terminal; a short-range radio communication part 10 for performing radio communication utilizing infrared rays; and a short-range radio communication determination part 23 for determining whether or not communication by the short-range radio communication part 10 is established. If the communication by the short-range radio communication part 10 is established at the time of call arrival from the other mobile communication terminal, the audio I/F switching instructor 21 and the audio I/F 7 turn audio inputs and outputs by a hands-free microphone 8b and a hands-free speaker 9b into activated state.
