PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly capable of measuring back structure deformation in a main reflecting mirror at an antenna assembly requiring accurate directional precision and tailing precision in astronomic observation or transmission, estimating the deformation in the main reflecting mirror, and highly accurately correcting on real-time a directional error caused by the deformation. SOLUTION: A light receiving device 7 is arranged at an outer edge of a back structure 4 for supporting a main reflecting mirror 5. Light irradiated from a light emitting device 6 prepared at a back structure base mount 3 is received to measure a change in the position of the light receiving device 7. Deformation amount of the main reflecting mirror 5 is calculated on the basis of the measurement result, and a directional error of an antenna is computed on the basis of the calculated deformation amount. According to the computed directional error of the antenna, the antenna is AZ-driven and EL-driven to correct the directional error of the antenna.
