PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller whereby an operator can surely obtain a sense of operation even when the operator operates a touch panel, properly select an operating method depending on the preference and the operating state or the like of the operator and also have an experience of fun. SOLUTION: The remote controller disclosed herein includes: a liquid crystal display panel 58; a touch panel 59 provided to the surface of the liquid crystal display panel 58; and a joy stick 17 or a sub direction key 54 provided to a main body 1. The remote controller also includes: a first means for informing that a selection item corresponding to information is selected and determined through the depression of a part of the touch panel 59 on the information displayed on the liquid crystal display panel 58; and a second means different from the first means and for informing that a selection item is selected and determined through the operation of the joy stick 17 or the sub direction key 54.
