PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur correction device and an imaging apparatus suppressing generated heat and drive noise and also preventing backlash of a gear or the like. SOLUTION: The stage structure for the imaging device is equipped with: a Y stage unit 6 on which a CCD 3 is installed; an X stage unit 5 provided with first flexible driving devices at a first relative position to the CCD 3 to interpose an imaging surface and connected to the Y stage unit 6 through the first flexible driving devices; and a base unit 4 provided with second flexible driving devices at a second relative position to the CCD 3 to interpose the imaging surface on a line orthogonal to a line connecting the respective first flexible driving devices and connected to the X stage unit 5 through the second flexible driving devices. Each first flexible driving device is fixed to the Y stage unit 6 at its one end and also connected to the X stage unit 5 at the other end, and each second flexible driving device is fixed to the X stage unit 5 at its one end and also connected to the base unit 4 at the other end.
