PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for injection molding which enables smooth removal of the molded product and an injection molding method using it. SOLUTION: The mold for injection molding is the one wherein, of the fixed mold 20 and the movable mold 30 that separates from/approaches to the fixed mold 20, at least the fixed side mold platen 24a of the fixed mold 20 is formed of a negative thermal expansion material represented by the general formula: Mn<SB>3</SB>X<SB>n</SB>Ge<SB>n-1</SB>N (wherein X is one or more of Cu, Zn and Ga; and n is in the range of 0≤n≤1).
