PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a higher yield than a yield attained when a single long inkjet head is manufactured. SOLUTION: The head unit has head sets 1 in each of which two inkjet heads 2 are made one set. Nozzle groups 71-74 are formed to an ink ejection surface 3a of the inkjet head 2. The nozzle groups consist of two triangular regions 81 and 82 comprised of a plurality of nozzles 8 near both ends in a main scan direction, and a quadrangular region 83 comprised of a plurality of nozzles 8 sharing sides along a sub scan direction of the two triangular regions 81 and 82. The one and the other inkjet heads 2 are arranged parallel to each other so that the triangular region 81 of the one inkjet head 2 of the head set 1 and the triangular region 82 of the other inkjet head 2 overlap nearly over the entire region with respect to the sub scan direction, and also so that the nozzles belonging to the overlapping triangular regions 81 and 82 align apart by every predetermined distance with respect to the main scan direction.
