PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella stand device which can be installed under the walking plane of a building or a road without impairing its umbrella stand function or draining function, while solving problems on a conventional device. SOLUTION: A device body B in a boxed shape consists of an upper face opening box body Bm which has a drain port D in the bottom in communication with an external drain means and which is buried under the walking plane F of the building or the road, and a cover plate T which is mounted on the box body Bm for covering the opening upper face of the box body Bm in a closeable manner and whose upper face is almost flush with the walking plane F therearound. The cover plate T has a through-hole Ta in/out of which the tip of an umbrella P can be downward put. A supporting cylinder part Tb to be fitted to the tip of the umbrella P is provided on the cover plate T or the box body Bm for holding the umbrella P inserted through the through-hole Ta in a rising condition right under the through-hole Ta.
