The system (10) has a database (110) containing spatial information regarding a closed area. A destination input unit (140) defines a destination point located in the area, and a route determining unit (120) determines a path inside the area between a starting point and the destination point. A visualization unit (130) generates a three-dimensional representation from the spatial information and a determined route in real-time. A representation unit (150) reproduces the three-dimensional representation. The route determining unit and the visualization unit are arranged in a central unit (20). The spatial information are provided as a set of real triples. An independent claim is also included for a method for locating and finding route for pedestrians in a closed area.
