PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens that has an entire length shortened, as maintaining an excellent optical performance.SOLUTION: An imaging lens 10 comprises, in order from an object side to an image side,: an aperture stop 2; a first lens element 3; a second lens element 4; a third lens element 5; a fourth lens element 6; a fifth lens element 7; and an optical filter 9. The first lens element has a surface on the image side formed of a convex part in the vicinity of an optical axis, the second lens element has a surface on the image side formed of a concave part in the vicinity of a peripheral part, the third lens element has a surface on the object side formed of the concave part in the vicinity of the peripheral part, the fourth lens element has negative refractive power and a surface on the object side formed of the convex part in the vicinity of the optical axis, and the fifth lens element has a surface on the object side formed of the convex part in the vicinity of the peripheral part. A thickness T2 of the second lens element, a thickness T4 of the fourth lens element, and a gap length G45 between the fourth lens element and the fifth lens element satisfy (T2+T4)/G45≤2.9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
