PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can efficiently cool a lower part in the vertical direction of a cartridge.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a grip part 23 that is located in an upper part in the vertical direction of a communication port 4A when a developing cartridge 7 is attached to the apparatus; and an opposing part 24 that extends from the developing cartridge 7 to an opening 3C side (front side) and is arranged opposite to the grip part 23 at a position shifted in the vertical direction with respect to the grip part 23. Thus, a large amount of air entered the inside of a housing 3 from the communication port 4A can be guided to a lower part in the vertical direction of the developing cartridge 7, and thereby the lower part in the vertical direction of the developing cartridge 7 can be efficiently cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
