[Problem] To provide, in a power transmission device, a technology enabling both shortening of the full length and reduction in the number of components. [Solution] A power transmission device 20 is configured so as to transmit power from a motor rotation shaft 14 to wheel shafts WS and WS via a second input shaft 26 and a second idler shaft 59. The second idler shaft 59 is provided with a sliding contact part 70 with which a brush member 70 slidingly makes contact. Among shaft supporting parts for supporting shaft members, parts of a housing-side second input shaft supporting part 64 and a housing-side second idler shaft supporting part 65 which are formed in a housing 32 are arranged in a flywheel accommodating space FAS. A brush housing wall part 32d is integrally formed with the housing-side second idler shaft supporting part 65, thereby connecting the inner part 32d' of the brush housing wall part 32d to the outside air through the flywheel accommodating space FAS and a cutout 32b". With this configuration, the full length of the power transmission device 20 can be prevented from being unnecessarily long, and providing a dedicated component such as a breather pipe is not required.
