This medical connector is provided with a communication path for a medical instrument connecting section, the path being defined by a housing and a valve body and guiding a fluid from a first medical instrument connecting section to a second medical instrument connecting section, the medical connector characterized in that a fluid is guided into the communication path for a medical instrument connecting section from a male connector connecting part, exclusively through a gap which is formed between a head part and a housing due to contractile deformation induced in a barrel part by the head part of the valve during insertion of a male connector into a male connector connecting part. |
