PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device which generates airflow from the outside between a recording head and a medium to inhibit occurrence of a swirl in a head lower space located between the recording head and the medium, prevent wind ripple etc. from being caused by small droplets floating in the head lower space, and minimize contamination of the medium.SOLUTION: A liquid jet device has: a liquid jet head including a nozzle array 1A in which nozzle openings 11 are arranged; and airflow generating means which generates airflow W between a nozzle plate and a medium so as to inhibit a swirl generated by airflow formed by discharged droplets without affecting application of main droplets of droplets discharged from the nozzle openings 11 to the medium that is a printing object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
