PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting conveyor with a series of follower carriages.SOLUTION: Follower carriage 2 can be driven continuously and are guided along a track 4 having two spaced parallel running rails in a transport direction, wherein at least one follower carriage 2 is coupled to a transport carriage 10 by means of an articulate joint 52 rotatable in all directions, the transport carriage 10 being continuously guided in the transport direction along two spaced parallel mounting rails 12a, 12b arranged at a certain distance from the running rails, and having a transport frame, which is supported on the articulate joint 52 and follows behind the articulation joint 52 on each mounting rail 12a, 12b with respect to the transport direction 6, wherein the mounting rails are arranged at a predetermined vertical distance from the running rails 4a, 4b and load-supporting members 14a, 14b, the load-supporting members 14a, 14b always being in a horizontal position. |
