PURPOSE: A method of expanding an antenna is provided to automatically expand the antenna of a wireless mobile phone, to which an ear-microphone is removably connected, using the ear-microphone. CONSTITUTION: The method of expanding an antenna of a mobile phone, which is provide with a motor for expanding or contracting the antenna and may be connected with a ear-microphone, comprises a first process of determining whether an interruption is occurred by an operation of keys provided in the ear-microphone, a second process of determining whether a sound dialing function is set when the interruption is occurred, a third process of demanding to input a name of a person to be called when the sound dialing function is set and a fourth process of driving the motor so as to expand the antenna and then contract the antenna after completing a telephone call. In the third process, the demand for name input is indicated by a sound message and a letter message. Thereby, the antenna is automatically expanded using only the ear-phone without opening a flip.
