<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination color adjusting device of an onboard machine which easily adjusts an illumination color of a retrofitted onboard machine to an illumination color of an instrument panel, and also provide a method for using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises an image data input interface 1 to input image data picked up by a pick-up device while the illumination of the instrument panel of a vehicle is lighted, a RGB conversion IC2 to convert the inputted image data to RGB data, and a micro computer 3 to set the illumination color of the onboard machine by analyzing the RGB data corresponding to an illumination part of the instrument panel. The image data picking up the illumination part of the instrument panel is inputted to the onboard machine and converted to the RGB data, and the illumination color of the onboard machine is set based on the RGB data. Thus, a user picks up the illumination part of the instrument panel of the vehicle by the pick-up device and inputs the image data to the onboard machine, and easily adjusts the illumination color of the onboard machine to the illumination color of the instrument panel without complicated operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
