PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an electrically stable state in between a developing roller and a magnetic seal, in between a restricting member and the magnetic seal and in between the developing roller and the restricting member. SOLUTION: The developing apparatus is provided with: the developing roller for feeding developer to an electrophotographic photoreceptor by being applied with a specific voltage value in order to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor; the restricting member for restricting the thickness of layer of the developer attached to the periphery surface of the developing roller and provided with a blade abutted to the developing roller and a blade supporting member supporting the blade and voltage value which is the same as the voltage value applied to the developing roller is applied to the blade supporting member; the magic seal provided in a frame with a space between the developing roller and provided with a magnet and a conductive magnet supporting part installed on one end of the magnet in the longitudinal direction of the developing roller, and preventing leakage of the toner from the longitudinal direction of the developing roller; and a conductive member for electrically connecting the restricting member and the magnet supporting part.
