PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus satisfying both high spatial resolution (e.g., 0.35 mm) on an axial plane and good continuity along a body axis direction in a helical scan. SOLUTION: Fine pitch data SP finer than data (actual data 1, 2) collected by a detecting means while carrying out the helical scan is generated, and image reconstruction is performed based on the fine pitch data SP.
