PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily start an engine even when surrounding temperature is low. SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle consists of an engine 11, a generator motor 16, a driving motor 25, a differential gear mechanism having a first gear element connected to the engine 11, a second gear element connected to the generator motor 16 and a third gear element connected to a driving wheel, a temperature detecting means detecting the temperature of the engine 11, a start condition materialization determining means determining whether or not a start condition is materialized, a starting means for starting the engine 11 at materializing of the start condition, and a start condition changing means changing the start condition corresponding to the detected temperature of the engine 11. Because the start conditions are changed corresponding to the temperature of the engine 11 detected by the temperature detecting means, the number of revolutions of the generation motor is lowered, a generator motor torque TG is increased and consequently the engine 11 is ignited. |
