PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management method and an information management apparatus which can manage specified information for conducting a job management to image information. SOLUTION: In a memory card 16, an automatic print file 300 describing a print job for automatically printing the image information and an image is recorded. When the image information is recorded in the memory card 16, the print job is formed in an invalidated state, and is recorded in the automatic print file 300.
