PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a display for an inspecting operation and a display for alarm cause information which is an alarm history in an alarm such as a gas alarm. SOLUTION: An inspection switch 40 is turned "on" by pulling a pull string, an independent inspection is determined when an "on" state continues for a constant period and a linked inspection is determined when the "on" state further continues. When the "on" state continues for a prescribed period after the inspection switch 40 is turned on, an alarm cause display mode is determined. When the inspection switch 40 is turned "off" immediately after determination of the independent inspection, the independent inspection process is carried out. When the inspection switch 40 is turned "off" immediately after determination of the linked inspection, the linked inspection process is carried out. When the inspection switch 40 is turned "off" immediately after determination of an alarm cause display mode, transition to the alarm cause display mode is caused. In the alarm cause display mode, alarm cause information 24a stored in memory 24 is read and the alarm cause information is displayed. Furthermore, each time the inspection switch 40 is turned on and off repeatedly, the alarm causes in the past are displayed in order and the order is displayed by the number of times a light source lamp 50 is lit.
