A method for evaluating basic safety and carrying safety of a radioactive waste container is provided to carry a radioactive waste in an optimum safe condition by evaluating safety of a container according to various carrying conditions. A radioactive waste is classified according to radioactive limit quantity(S11). A container is selected according to a kind of the radioactive waste(S12). A basic safety evaluation is performed according to a radiation allow standard(S13). A carrying condition is determined(S14). The carrying condition includes a carrying route(141), a carrying unit(142), and a carrying environment(143). An individual safety evaluation is performed according to the carrying process(S15). A suitability of the container about an incident generated in the carrying process is evaluated(S19). The basic safety evaluation and the individual safety evaluation are performed in a process for designing or selecting the container at the same time. |
