PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool bearings on a load side and an anti-load side.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a rotary shaft 2 rotating about a predetermined axis; a rotor 4 surrounding the rotary shaft 2 from radially outside and rotating together with the rotary shaft 2; a stator 5 surrounding the rotor 4; a stator frame 10; and an external fan 40. The stator frame 10 has a body part 20 configured to surround the stator 5, a first end plate 21 attached to one end part of the body part 20, and a second end plate 22 attached to the body part 20 at a side opposite to the first end plate 21. The external fan 40 is arranged outside the second end plate 22. The first end plate 21 is configured to be recessed axially inward from the radially outside toward the rotary shaft 2, and the second end plate 22 is configured to be projected axially outward from the radially outside toward the rotary shaft 2. |
