PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing particulate matter contained in exhaust gas, by suppressing localized incomplete combustion by uniformizing an air flow within a combustion chamber and the vicinity of the same in a peripheral direction.SOLUTION: In a piston 13 in which a combustion chamber C is formed in a position deviated from an axis Acy of a cylinder 11c, the combustion chamber C is arranged in a position where the axis Aco of the combustion chamber C intersects a distal end part 16t of a fuel injection nozzle 16, and an opening part Co of the combustion chamber C is arranged in a position for making a predetermined slant angle α around the axis Aco of the combustion chamber C to a first virtual line L1 connecting from the axis Acy of the cylinder 11c to the axis Aco of the combustion chamber C. |
