Provided is a balancer device for an internal combustion engine with which rattling noise between gears in a drive mechanism can be effectively reduced. A balancer drive gear and a balancer driven gear are arranged respectively on a second-end-part side of a drive-side balancer shaft and the driven-side balancer shaft, and an oil pump is arranged at a first-end-part side of the driven-side balancer shaft, with a drive mechanism therebetween.
