The present disclosure relates to a method and device for controlling power consumption and relates to the field of intelligent devices. The method comprises: determining a monitoring mode according to a system type; monitoring, in real time according to the monitoring mode, whether a system currently needs to execute a task; and when a real-time monitoring result is that currently, no task needs to be executed, switching the system into a low power consumption mode to work. The device comprises a determining module, a monitoring module, and a switching module. In the present disclosure, power consumption control is implemented on the basis of a uniform and simple software architecture, and the implementation of a development framework is facilitates; specific working characteristics of the device do not need to be analyzed; the present disclosure is not limited to device functions, is suitable for different types of devices and is applied more widely and flexibly. |
