CONSTITUTION: An image processing device 30 is a device for processing a CR image created by photographing a limb of a patient before being expanded in a bitmap area 42bm1. In performing the processing, a CPU 34, first, expands a binary coded image created by binarization processing on the CR image in a bitmap area 42bm2 and defines a convex hull surrounding all black pixels in the expanded binary coded image, on the basis of pixel values of the expanded binary coded image. The CPU 34, next, defines an exclusion area that covers the defined convex hull and protrudes from the binary coded image in the limb's lengthwise direction, in the bitmap area 42bm2 and paints the CR image's part present in an area outside of the exclusion area black.EFFECT: A workload for reducing brightness of a background of a limb having emerged in a CR image can be mitigated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
