PURPOSE: A balsam-based cosmetic material is provided instead of a conventional chemical cosmetic manicure with beautiful colors and innoxiousness to the skin. CONSTITUTION: The balsam cosmetic material comprises pink, white or violet petals of a garden balsam in July and August; an oxalis or other materials containing a hydroxide component for making the nail flaccid; alum or salt as a mordant; and innoxious paraben as a preservative. The balsam cosmetic material of the composition is sufficiently pulverized to obtain an extract and packed in a container of a nail size such as cotton, sponge or absorbent gauze by the color.
