The guillotine (1) also includes a laminating unit (14) for laminating a sheet with at least one film. The laminating unit is (or can be) arranged on one side of the baseplate (3). It includes a feed opening for introduction of sheets and films; this faces the baseplate. The underside of the feed opening is flush with the upper surface of the baseplate. The cutter (4) is on one side of the baseplate, the laminating unit on the other side. The laminator is located on a side at right angles to that along which the cutter runs. Sheet cutter is constructed as a lever-operated guillotine. This comprises a pivoted arm (5) holding the blade, operating against a fixed blade mounted on the baseplate. A roller cutter variant is also described. This may complement a lever guillotine on the same baseplate. Further variants of the equipment are detailed. The functional components are interchangeable, held by clip fastenings. The laminator is of the hot or cold type. A battery or accumulator supplies power to the laminator. |
