PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mosquito-trapping device, capable of catching the mosquitoes without using an insecticide, catching a large number of mosquitoes in a good efficiency, and being hygienic and handled very easily. SOLUTION: This mosquito-trapping device is equipped with a carbon dioxide gas-generating container, a landing member where the mosquitoes stay temporarily, and a trapping part for catching the mosquitoes staying on the landing member. The landing member consists of an almost cylindrical rotary body and a driving part for rotating the rotary body. The rotary body has at least a black-colored circumferential surface. The trapping part consists of a peeling part for peeling off the mosquitoes from the landing member and a housing part for housing the peeled off mosquitoes from the landing member. The peeling part consists of a brush member installed in parallel to a center shaft of the rotary body, wherein the brushing member is installed at the progressing side of the rotation of the rotary body and makes a contact with the circumferential surface of the rotary body, and the housing part is a container capable of housing a multiple number of mosquitoes and is characterized by having an opening part installed in the vicinity of the brushing member.
