PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device which has a large-screen, high definition, and high reliability by making a temperature distribution within a display panel surface uniform. SOLUTION: The plasma display device is equipped with the display panel 1 and a cooling unit 3, which has at least a top cover 4 and a bottom plate 5 where a coolant radiating heat generated by the display panel 1 circulates on the reverse surface of the display panel 1 and is provided with a plurality of flow passage partition walls 6 forming a circulation flow passage 7 for the coolant in the space of the cooling unit 3, and the temperature distribution on the surface of the display panel 1 of the plasma display device is made uniform.
