PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which ameliorates "moving blurring" of a hold type display device, such as a liquid crystal display device, and reduces the degradation in luminance, and a program. SOLUTION: The image processing system 10 includes a detection section 12 which detects a change in a pixel value of pixels in a prescribed region between an input present image and a reference image, and a pixel value conversion section 13 which converts the pixel value of the pixel in the prescribed region of the present image detected of the change in the pixel value in the detection section 12, based on the prescribed pattern.
