PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production apparatus and a production method of the polyamide monofilament, which are capable of stably producing uniform quality monofilament having no longitudinal monofilament unevenness. SOLUTION: The production apparatus and the production method of polyamide monofilament have a heat treatment device composed of a taking up first godet roller 5 and a second godet roller 6 for taking up the melt-spun polyamide monofilament, and a Nelson type drawing third godet roller 7 and a forth godet roller 8 for heat-treating the monofilament drown between the first godet roller and the drawing third godet roller, wherein at least a part contacting with the monofilament and of one side of the drawing third godet roller or a forth godet roller is a mirror finished surface and at least a part contacting with the monofilament and of the other godet roller surface is a satin finished surface.
