PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car bottom working scaffold device for an elevator enhancing safety of high position work such as replacement of an electric bulb of a hall lantern at the lowermost story from the inside of an elevator shaft. SOLUTION: An opening is formed on a part of a working floor plate positioned on the same vertical projection plane as a shock absorber 2 installed at a bottom part of the shaft and contacted with a bottom part of the car at emergency descending of the car, and an opening closure floor plate 3 is movably provided so as to be positioned at any one position of the position for closing the opening and the non-closure position.
