PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of improving quality of an image with an infrared light component added.SOLUTION: An endoscope includes a four-color separation prism 20, four image sensors 230-233, and an output device. The four-color separation prism 20 separates the light from an object into three primary color lights and infrared light. The image sensors 230-233 convert optical images of the separated three primary color lights and infrared light to an electric signal respectively.
