PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam drying apparatus, hardly generating stain due to drying defect after material to be dried is taken out from a drying tank regardless of the heat capacity of the material to be dried. SOLUTION: This steam drying apparatus includes: the drying tank 10 for drying the material 40 to be dried; a steam generating part 20 for generating drying steam; a steam heating part 30 for generating heated steam; and a steam cooling part 57 for cooling the heated steam, wherein the steam generating part 20 generates steam, the steam heating part 30 heats the steam to generate heated steam, the drying tank 10 dries the material to be heated by the supply of the heated steam, and the steam cooling part 57 cools the heated steam and collects the same.
